Sewa International, in collaboration with the Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership Institute, invites volunteers to participate in an AmeriCorps service event! Discover how sustainably sourced wood is used to construct boats for river activities and learn the craft of building sturdy cedar boats.Learn about our civic science water quality monitoring program, where water samples are analyzed to ensure the Raritan River's safety. Explore the importance of rainwater harvesting in addressing water scarcity, promoting sustainability, and enhancing community resilience to climate change and environmental challenges. Come join us in our cleanup and conservation efforts for the Raritan River. We will also take this moment to remember and honor the victims, survivors, and families affected by 9/11 and join us in the felicitation of veterans and first responders. Together We Serve Better!
